I tried but could not fight the cravings I felt today - it was my first real slip up since starting the program. It's stemming from certain things in life that are currently out of my control. Just have to ride out the wave. I have my journal next to me and intend to write before bed... Having such a negative attachment to food since my pre-teen years has me looking deeper into where this connection stems from. Yesterday was the anniversary party for the practice I work at. I had a few drinks - they were water mostly and did a good job of keeping away from the appetizers accept for sliced fruit. But then came the biscuits. I had about six small ones and I felt nothing but emptiness and failure afterwards. I have yet to go shopping for week 3 but have plenty of week 2 groceries to get me started tomorrow. I just feel so low emotionally. Gotta get back up and keep climbing this wall I've built. 💪🏻

Thanks ladies! I'm hearing you all loud and clear! I do agree that we are really hard on ourselves but for me this has been a long long issue since I was a little girl. It is a new day and onwards and upwards. I woke up this morning and totally feel new. Thank you all for your beautiful words - starting week 3 right ❤️❤️

It is a big reaction to some little biscuits. I have been on week one and in that time I had a chocolate brownie and half a packet of licorice! Please don't assume that everyone else is perfect and you are the only one having a nibble. Despite my little off plan moments I still consider my week to be a massive success because overall I ate really healthily!!! This isn't a test it's a life plan and in order to live life I think it's probably fair to say that diets work on an 80/20 ratio. Be kind to yourself because all the focus on the biscuits just puts biscuits in the top of your mind.... As elsa would say "let it go" and put the good food back in the priority place again.

You know what - enjoy those biscuits - don't feel guilty and get back on it.

It's the guilt that then turns into a binge.

Why are we as women so damn hard on ourselves when it comes to food..... We go off track slightly then we are 'failures', and we feel so low...... Come on girls, i am starting to think like Madeleine...... We sometimes eat something we know isn't nutritionally great, why, all sorts of reasons, but you have been healthy eating for 3 weeks, you have adopted a healthy lifestyle, you are great, a bit of bad food isn't going to change that. Be more kind to yourself.. 😀💪

Absolutely - see today as a new day and don't see yesterday as as failure at all. You're leaps ahead where you were before simply because you're on the programme! Turn the negatives into positives - and listen to Welcome to Week 3 podcast, very apt!! We are all behind you, hope you've had a good sleep and wishing you a very happy and positive Sunday! ⭐️✨

We are only humans :) and it is our cracks that make us interesting. The important is to not let one slip compromise what you want to do. Remember why you want to do it, shake the bad feelings and move forward.

You haven't failed, your acknowledgement of how you feel after 'slipping up' has just brought how you feel into focus which is a massive positive because now you can begin to address the issues. It's all good, today is a new day and you have the right to choose how it goes for you 😊
