Hey all! So I am cooking the dinners for myself and my boyfriend and I know the meal plan says makes enough for 2 meals /4 meals and have left overs but he keeps eating them or there's only enough for 2 of us. Should I double up on ingredients so there's left overs? Just about to head into week 2 and noticed the stew is 4 meals and needed in week 4...i doubt I'll have any to freeze!!!

I do 50% extra as he likes getting lunch in staff canteen. He doesn't enjoy the meals with no meat so much so he gets his meat fix in work 😁 Sometimes can just stick to recipe and get 3 decent sized portions though. I guess depends how hungry you are xx

I double up but the portions are huge for lunch so we've been doing the recipes x 1.5 and neither of us can stomach dinner sized lunches. (So have a slightly smaller portion left for lunch to to split)

Most definitely double up. It says two meals but the one is meant to be for left over lunch.(which would be your two portions) So if you want two meals in the evening & lunch then double it up. 😀

I would double up my hubby has been eating all the meals too so this ensures you have extra.

My mum and I are doing the meal plans together so I have doubled up but the portions and left overs are huge!! So I do 1 1/5 if that makes sense? We still have loads of left over anyway and I'm quite a big eater

Double up hun. I've been doing that for me & hubby but he gets very hungry an hr or so later. Maybe add more protein for him, extra chicken/fish etc. x

The recipes, shopping lists and meal plans are all based on just one person so unless you're buying double what's on the shopping list then there won't be enough for leftovers for lunch/later weeks if two of you are eating. I hope I've not misunderstood what you're saying though... 🙈

Ah yeah but it only makes 2 meals and I have to feed him too. 😊 so I'm thinking I should make more to have some left overs? Men are a pain haha
