Hi. I'm on day 5 and Iv got to admit I'm really struggling 😔 I'm not hungry, the food is amazingly filling but I'm super depressed, keep bursting into tears, can't think properly and I'm finding the workouts really hardcore. Last night I couldn't sleep as my hips were so painful and my shoulders hurt from day 1 workout onwards. Iv also had (hate saying this) diarrhoea since day 2. I'm not fit, obviously but I feel super unfit now after seeing what is expected of me! Am I just very unhealthy or is anyone finding this as tough as me? I'm determined to stick to it as this plan seems so good but my body isn't helping me.

Thanks to everyone who has so kindly commented, it makes a real difference to hear what you've all had to say. You're right, I think I was being too hard on myself & trying to run before I could walk. I was so close yesterday to giving up & feeling like Iv failed but reading that others have not found it all a breeze either (I thought it was just me!) is comforting. After researching on the net last night as to why I feel SO bad, I think I'm having sugar withdrawal symptoms which apparently can be pretty tough for a couple of weeks when embarking on a diet like this. So I'm going to stick with it & be proud of what Iv done rather than stress about what I haven't. Thanks again. Hope everyone has a great weekend xx

it's maybe the sugar leaving your system. I don't know what your diet was like before but if it's anything like mine ( I hope for your sake it's not) the first week is going to hurt. But weirdly I can't wait to go through it cos I know how I'll feel after the first week. Hopefully full of energy and 😀

Hey babe, just be kind to your body. Listen to how you and your body feel and ease off exercise if you ever experience pain and injury. These things take time and it will get easier when starting a new programme your body is adjusting so give yourself time xx

I got so discouraged with the first week of workout outs. I felt like I wasn't doing any of it right. Just try to do your best and you do get stronger and it get a tiny bit easier. Make the program work for you. Everyone is different, so do what feels right for you. Give your self a break, your doing something new so pace yourself and take care of yourself not only physically but mentally.

Stick with it 😊 I would stick to the food (your tum will adjust) and drink lots of water. Like the other girls have said take it easy on the exercise for a few days. Have lots of 'me' time. Nice bubble bath, herbal tea, light some candles. Ooh I've now talked myself into doing this tonight 😂😂😂 Come on here any time you need support 😘

Any change can be hard and everyone has moments, you got this! Take each day as it comes, if you feel down try doing an extra meditation maybe? As for the work outs slowly build up to them, try doing one set then rest the next day. Than you can gradually increase to what suits your body. 😊

I felt terrible first 5 days of week one... Then felt great.... As allie said ease off exercise slightly if it's hard, repeat week one get comfy with that before moving on, have a rest day or two... Its a plan, its set out, but there is nothing wrong with tweeking it a bit to make it yours! 🙂

Sarah, I second Allie's words. We're far too hard on ourselves - it's all about small victories. I'm on week three and just starting to get a hang of the circuit workouts. I eased into them by only doing the yoga. Go at your own pace, this programs is designed with the individual in mind ❤️
You're doing amazing!

Are you depressed because the guide isn't going to plan, or just generally in a depressed state.
Don't beat yourself up over this. Take each day at a time. Listen to your body. It's ok to miss a day, to take a day to let your body heal, rest and reset. There is no shame in listening to what your body is telling you.
If you miss a day, start fresh the next. If your week doesn't go right. Start over the next week.
Stomach issues are usual when you change your diet.
PM me if you want some support and a friendly ear 😘

I also having bowel movements but I believe it's trying to help my digestive system. Peppermint and liquorice tea helps me too. Also got a herbal tea called after dinner which is another one that helps digestion . Don't be hard on yourself. I know it not easy I'm pushing myself . Why don't we treat ourself to something that's not food related to a yay we achieved our first week we can do it again .

I can't do the exercises. Don't over do your body if it's causing injuries.
