Hey glow squad I need some advice. Been feeling really poorly this week with a inflamed esophagus (due to savage indigetion) and I can barely stay awake. I have been carry on with the programme (although I'm just munching and not completing the move bit 😕) Anyone have advice on what I can do to help with my currently crappy immune system?

Yep, I used to love peppermint tea but apparently it's terrible for reflux because mint signals to the stomach to get ready to digest food. So if you have reflux then it's ready to kick more acid right back at you! Xx

It sounds like you have a problem of digestion and bad acid reflux that travel up the esophagus. It's a signal you've got a problem that needs to be addressed. You've probably got to have to rebuild your hydrochloric acid and strengthen your digestive system.
One of the best things to do straightaway every day is drink a big glass of fresh celery juice on an empty stomach. It restores digestive health amazingly.
Then heavy metal detox is strongly recommended, restoring your gut flora and maximising B12 production. Sprouts are very good, organic farm veg and fruits.
Try not to overeat any type of protein (animal meat, nuts, seeds, legumes) as well as any food that combine fat and sugar (cheese, whole milk, cookies and ice cream) as they would have a harmful effect on hydrochloric acid.

Strongly recommend you to read the chapter called 'Gut Health' in the book 'Medical Medium'. It will give you lots of keys to understand what's going on and good advice for recovery.

Am I the only person who has not lost any weight? Been sticking to the diet religiously. About to start week 4 and would really like to see some weight loss as I am telling myself this is the best way of eating rather then my normal juicing diets when I loose 7lbs in 7 days. Any advice out there on weight loss?

thanks guys. I have a hiatus hernia so do suffer from indigestion sometimes but it's been really bad since I change my diet ( and drank to much wine last weekend 😳) it's funny everyone keeps tell me to have peppermint tea which I think makes it worse so I'm glad you mention that you have the same issue. I'm actually feeling a bit better today so perhaps I'm over the worst. it's so nice to have so many supportive strangers! Thanks guys 😙😙

Is it a reflux issue? I've recently been diagnosed with 'silent reflux' and have found lots of things to help. I have a special 45 degree pillow, don't eat three hours before lying down to sleep and avoid certain foods such as peppermint, excessive spice etc. The food on the plan will help too thanks to the lack of gluten in general. Xx

Rest! Honestly just rest!
Your immune system is already at a weakened state and it needs time to recover fully. If you don't, you're only setting yourself up for more issues down the line.
I know it's tough when you're not feeling 100% and disheartening when you can't work out or don't have as much energy, but seriously just rest. Let your body heal. 🙏💗😘🌻
