Hi glowers.
I'm feeling a bit blue today 🙁
The last 2 weeks at work have been horrendous and today I'm really feeling the extent of the physical and emotional stress I put my body through. My whole body hurts. Not to mention the minging headache I woke up with.
And despite sticking with the glow guide the best I could, I admit I may have had a bit of one of the donuts yesterday and 2 glasses of red wine with dinner... I just don't feel as healthy and energised as I did on week 1.
I'm feeling deflated and a bit of a failure actually. My clothes are just as tight and the scales haven't budged. And I know it's not about the numbers and all about how you feel on the inside.. Well i don't feel very good on the inside today.
I've lost my "Glow Jo"

Apart from a doughnut and a bit of wine you have stuck to an amazing healthy eating plan! Be kind to yourself and think about what you have done and not what you haven't. The little things you do consistently will be the things that make a big difference down the line! It's a marathon not a sprint (.... And all the other cheesy lines!). I have gone off plan a few times but I am thinking that each time I eat a Madeleine meal it is one more tick even if the one before wasn't. I haven't even started the exercise plan yet! I knew that with work, study and children I should be kind to myself. I also didn't want to underestimate what it would be like to change my diet and come off sugar. I will build the exercise in slowly maybe starting with yoga first and then the cardio. Glow easy on yourself!! X

Oh no hope you are feeling the glow soon. Like everyone else said take the day off, or two. Maybe a bit of fresh air, call a couple of friends, run a lovely bubble bath? Whatever you need to switch off and start again xxx

Big hugs Allie! Sounds like you need a big REST ! Do the Sunday stretchy yoga and relax. Take care of yourself.
PS I'm with you, feel good inside but wish those scales would move down a bit more!

Just concentrate on one thing to change at a time.... It can be overwhelming and tiring trying to be perfect at everything then you feel like a big failure...... Set yourself one thing you want to get right then move forward...... Life can get in the way and you have a stressful job so don't beat yourself up...... Rest and be kind to yourself....... P.s I think you are wonderful 👍😘

Agree with the other that you should rest. Stress is our body's #1 enemy so take the weekend and relax! You've been working hard!

Sounds like you need a boost. Go out for a nice walk and have some downtime with a lovely long bath if you can too. Why not browse the book or blog and choose some recipes that you really fancy? That way they feel a treat but aren't 'off plan' as such. ❤️

I'd take a couple of days off the exercise Alliepants and focus on eating well. Sounds like you are just exhausted and need to recharge. Get some nice nutritious food that you enjoy and hopefully that will make you feel a bit better. Sorry to hear you sound like this, you are always so positive. 🙏

We all have our off days. Sounds like you need to relax and recharge. Maybe get some fresh air and go for a gentle walk, listening to your fav music? I find that chills me out xx

love the quote, there is so much we focus on and most of it the negative, change in mindset to praise ourselves for the good things we do takes time. You will get there stay positive.

Don't worry about it to much. I think it's ok to slip up some times and we shouldn't beat our selves up for not being perfect. As long as we can say opps and move on it well be fine. I think we spend to much time on what we do wrong rather than what we do right. I like the quite from Eleanor Roosevelt 'Well behave woman rarely make history", so it ok to be naughty sometimes!
