Hi Maddie & Glow girls! I've been loosely following the Get the Glow plan in Maddie's amazing book for about 8 months now and love the delicious recipes! Was really excited to start the guides on the app this week, but have come down with a stinking cold. Does anyone have any tips to boost the immune system (apart from rest & fluids) so I can get back on track? :)

Paracetamol and ibuprofen if you have a temperature or headache x

Madeleine has a recipe in her book, a hot drink with garlic and ginger. I tried it once, it's a bit strong my works wonders. Try googling it, may be she also posted it on her blog.

Honestly because it's a viral illness, rest and fluids really are the best thing.
A cup of tea with some lemon and honey won't really boost the immune system but it's warming and soothing on the throat. Also a vitamin c effervescent tab might help.

The turmeric milk recipe from the app might help. Turmeric seems to do just about everything, but yes, rest and plenty of fluids seem to be the way to go. x
