Just tried the sesame balls again and disaster!! It's all just a gloopy mess. I'm following the new recipe and it's just not working. The ingredients aren't cheap and 3 batches in the bin! X

Mine is really runny too. I put it in the fridge for half hour before I tried to ball them up, they're still more of a so lodge than a ball!

My tahini is runny the almond butter is not. I blended it for ages in the hope it might bind it but it just made it worse :( X

Have u tried food processing it longer to see if it makes it thicker
. Then when it's done stir the dedicated coconut in first. One of the other recipes that had no coconut oil in I had to use as it wasn't forming together. Let me experiment and see how it comes out. I do it tomorrow

I was if its the almond butter? Is yours runny in the jar?

I was the same Jenny, second batch still really wet using the corrected recipe even after adding extra coconut. I just put the mixture in a baking tray into the freezer and let it set then cut it up. So I've been having 'sesame and almond squares' rather than balls. Still yummy x

2 tablespoons of each or one of each Madeleine

If it's any consolation I did not like the flavour of these ones so the date ones are always a good shout 😝

I did on the second batch then on the 3rd cut down to 1 tbsp of tahini. But that was still a gloopy mess. I don't have the ingredients to make more now :(

I agree! This recipe was really frustrating as, like you previously said, the ingredients are not cheap. I ended up throwing half of the mixture out, rolling the 'balls' with wet hands (which kinda helps) then freezing them. Still wasn't ideal and I won't be making them again.

I'm going to give it a go later and let u know what I done if it comes out right

I know what the ingredients list is saying but they aren't right. I only used a small amount of tahini as mines so runny :(

It's 2 spoons of almond butter and 2 spoons of tahini

Maybe try adding the wet ingredients a little at a time so that you can stop when it's at the right consistency. I think I did 4 almond and 2 tahini as my tahini was really runny.
