Hey Glow Girls! it's Friday here so happy Friday :)

I was wondering if there any other acne sufferers on here? My adult acne really settled down recently but I had quite a bad flare up last week, and it wasn't at the usual time of month.... I read online that nuts can cause flare ups but I also read they are good for acne so I'm confused 😕 maybe just the sudden change in diet, a bit like when you start using a reallu good cleanser and your skin flares up.

would love tp hear anyone elses experiences! My skin drives me mad, edpecially now that I'm well into my 20s and it still hasn't calmed down

thanks lovelies ♡♡♡♡♡

Hi Nicole, the exact same thing happened to me! I'm still suffering with it coming in to week 4. It just flared up of nowhere in week 2, but am not sure from which foods(?) Hopefully will settle down as we continue.. 😊

Pincess, so glad things have calmed down for you, and I hope they settle down for you too, Alex 😘
I think that I will cut out nuts and see how it goes. Thanks so much for all your lovely support Madeleine, and all the other amazing girlies in this group!! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Hello gorgeous girl!! When we go through a change in diet this can happen. Removing inflammatory foods will really help settle it. But we're all different so find what works for you. If you think it is the nuts then you can substitute these for seeds or coconut! I hope that helps. Let me know how you get on, and remember you're beautiful!! Xxx

So glad that someone else has found this! I suffer from adult acne too but it seemed to have settled down until this last week! I thought nuts were good for your skin so I have been eating them, hope it's not that! Normally only react like this if I've eaten lots of processed sugars but I haven't had any... Hopefully it goes down like you said.

I think everything goes a bit crazy at first as the detox takes a hold of no sugar, dairy , wheat etc. My skin went a bit dry and itchy for a few weeks. It's lovely now. I'm sure it will settle. Fingers crossed xx
