I'm feeling really down about the exercise and trying to fit it in. Work days are just a no go I'm up at 5.30 to 6 and I work until 10 or 11 and really don't have any time in between and I'm so tired from not enough sleep as it is on these days I just can't get up any earlier! Is it ok to double up the other days to fit them all in?

Charlhealth I am in the same job and can sympathise. 5.30 starts - late finishes and weekend working too ! I fit in what I can during week and make sure I get two good workouts in at weekend . It's hard to balance everything - just do what you can . Little changes are steps in the right direction X

Thanks all including Shona and Maddie I can train 4 days but I don't even have a break at all work days I'm not kidding it's a quick grab of some hot work and eating whilst marking and prepping lessons. I'd love to go for a walk or gym but it's just not an option. I'm not being pessimistic I'm just crazy busy during these days :( #lifeofateacher #toddlermummy

No need to double up beautiful, just get in what you can. They will still work. I don't train every day - my schedule is crazy busy and if I beat myself up for every workout I missed, I would just be one massive negative nelly. Instead just be proud of the workouts you are fitting in and when you do train, train well and focus on form. 🙏🏾

I can relate to those long work hours!
Just do what you can. Your body needs rest.. If you double up you may just Strauss yourself and your body out more.
I can't go to the gym at lunch, but I make a point to leave and walk outside, even just for 10 mins xx

I have the same problem! If I feel up to it I squeeze one in or double up if I don't feel up to it I don't stress! I know that 13 hours in my job is a workout in itself! Yesterday I walked 19 km at work, I felt food and sleep were more important than exercise when I got home! Xxx

What Madeleine said but otherwise go for a walk even if 15 minutes on your break it will clear your head and it's something and then do some exercise on days your not working, may be a yoga class or follow the videos and then a HIIT for a more energetic workout but doesn't take up too much time xx

Do something on a day off but don't stress about work days, I think you are doing enough then.

I wouldn't double up, do something, but you need your rest too. I'm no expert though

I would do mini rounds. Maybe warm up then one or two rounds of exercise then one or two of core. Sounds like you need as much sleep as possible thought xxx

I think you should just do what you can on the days you can. Don't stress over it -double will be too much. Xx
