Day 2 of week 1 and I'm feeling so lethargic, unfocused and headachey at my desk. Not what I thought would happen at all so it's thrown me a bit but I've just realised that maybe these are sugar withdrawal symptoms?! Did this happen to anyone else?

I'm also on week one and have had crushing headaches at work, to the point where I've considered having a big cup of bee sweet coffee! But trying to resist as hoping it will pass. Drank lots of ginger and lemon tea as well as water which did help! Day off today so just trying to rest and take it easy! I'm sure it will be worth it in a few days!x

I have had a lapse but after starting again soon after, and only on day 2 i feel so much better its untrue,so stick it out it wont last forever and when through u will be so pleased xx

Yes, I took 2 big naps in week 1. Listen to your body and then enjoy. X

Yes! I didn't eat much sugar anyway but I had a headache for 3 days! It does go and then you are left buzzing from loads of energy- promise!

Yes it happened to me and kicked in day 2-4 of week one! I actually thought I had morning sickness until I realised it was the sugar withdrawals! By day 5 of that first week I felt awesome and it just got better! X

Hi I'm at exactly the same place as you, my problem is I'm freezing, can't get warm! Have had the odd fleeting headache so don't know if if still got that to come! 😳

Thank you all so much, it helps to know what it is and that I'm not the only one! I am of course going to stick with it! 💪🏼 I'm just shocked I feel like this as I didn't realise I had so much sugar in my diet to cause me headaches and lethargy after 2 days without it! If anything it makes me more determined to beat the sugar monster (that's him --> 👹) X

If it helps, I'm only in week two, and I already feel quite a difference! It's definitely worth sticking to it, and before you know it, the week will be gone! 😀 I find great help in Pukka peppermint and liquorice tea. Xx

Yes! I felt weak, cold & grumpy the first couple of days, it's just the sugar-withdrawal, but it does pass & after even just a week you'll start to feel fantastic! ☺️
