I've gained weight! 😳😡 I've not done the exercise religiously as I have a weird job that entails lots of hotels. I have given up refined sugar and processed foods and eaten so much better. I feel good but the scales say I've gained 7lbs. Please tell me my scales have broken! 😀

I think the way the recipes are thought out in terms of nutrients intake is made to fuel us up and compensate for all those workouts...if you can't exercise as much as planned in the programme you might need less on quantities?

The scales don't matter, hence my profile pic. On the left 11st 7lbs but eating crap and not exercising. On the right, 11st 7lbs eating clean and exercising. Measure your progress with a tape measure and take photos of you need this to feel that progress is happening, but mostly know that you are doing something healthy and GOOD for you :)

Agreed! I wouldn't worry what the scales say. Go on how your clothes feel and how you feel in yourself. I haven't lost any weight but I've dropped almost a dress size and my boyfriend hadn't seen me for a couple of weeks and then noticed how much more toned my legs were! X

Ignore the scales lovely. If it needs to come off it will. Exercising really does help tho xxxx

Ignore the scales. But I'm going by how body feels and my clothes getting looser

I've restarted from the beginning as although I have been doing Maddy's meals I've not been doing them in order. I for some reason find following simple instructions brings out the rebel in me! I've eaten the best I have ever eaten yet I'm heavier. However I feel good I feel a little bit leaner

Hey! I'm now on week 8, and whilst the scales say I've only lost 4 pounds since the beginning of the plan, I have lost 2 inches in both my waist and my hips! (And half an inch on my thighs!) So my advice is to measure yourself and take pics- ignore the scales!! Don't worry about it and keep going 😊👏👍 xxx

Which week are you on? A lot of people seem to have gained around week 2 only to loose it all and more in the weeks that followed.

It might just be temporary, I think I always weigh more before and during period. Which week of Glow Guides are you in? Don't feel disheartened! Xx

Do you feel better or like things fit better? Throw the scales out 😁
