I've found all the gluten free oats that I've tried have been really sticky and not that nice. Does anyone know of any good brands? Or would it matter if I went back to normal oats? X

jenhammer and maddie's advice is correct, coeliac uk website says they have a protein avenin not gluten, but main issue is cross contamination. So regular oats should be fine if there is no allergy.

I love Amazon but if you're no coeliac then normal oats are fine as they are gluten free but made in a factory which uses gluten. As long as you don't have an intolerance you will be fine xxxx

Autie flipper they are they have avenine in them which is similar to gluten which some ceoliacs are sensitive too but oats are gluten free, trust me I am studying nutrition at uni at the moment.

I use Nairn gluten free porridge oats and make it with coconut milk. I find them great especially with fruit, nuts and a sprinkle of coconut. 💞

Porridge oats are actually gluten free, the only reason gluten free ones exist are for coeliacs who need to ensure no gluten was even near the product when packaging etc. I have used both and normal oats are fine. Try not to fear gluten unless your ceoliac, it's not unhealthy if eaten in good quality food, it's another fad that people are following without any scientific reason X X
