Does anyone have any tips for sciatica ? I've had it for a while but this week the pain is unbearable and just don't know what to do with myself ! Feeling a bit sorry 😢

Hi fairycake, I asked my dad who is a health specialist as I didn't know about sciatic myself. He sent me a big document with great recommendations this morning. As it is in French I will translate the key things for you and send to you. Will PM. It had lots of good things in it not only to help now but also prevent others in the future

Agreed, due to prolapsed discs I suffered with sciatica and it's really debilitating, particularly if you've been used to being active. Whilst my first choice would not be medication, I did have to take painkillers and anti inflammatories for some months to manage the pain and get some relief. Also saw physiotherapist. I try to remain as active as I can, and have been without medication for over a year, so there were benefits for me. Good luck X

I had to take anti inflammatories when mine flared up. maybe just take The medication to take the edge off and when you're not in so much pain get explore the natural remedies. I respect you want to avoid it but there is no point being in pain needlessly!

I try to avoid all medicines where possible in favour of more natural remedies. Might explore that avenue if it continues like this ! Thank you 😊

Have you got some medication from your gp? Once you get a bit of relief with medication physio will help you so much. Stay positive, you will be back to yourself soon xxx
