Hello everyone, just wanted to post to say well done to all who complete the 8 week programme this weekend. I joined at the beginning but after week three it all got a bit too much for me....sadly the meals weren't family/hubby friendly and I have a bit of a rule about not doing separate meals, with working full time I just don't have the time for that!
I have enjoyed some of the meals a lot and the Asian salmon is still a winner, I love the yoga too.
It hasn't been a waste of time or money though, I've found my own way in the world of clean eating and exercise, along with my buddy, I've taken a lot of Maddie's principles and adapted them to suit my way of life, so it was worth every penny in that respect 😊
This way of life does give your"the glow", ditch the junk, eat well, train hard, it's a winning combination!!

You are not the only one who hasn't followed the guide to the letter, and it doesn't matter! I am marathon training so some exercise has not been done and I have added more carbs to my food... I loved the yoga and ate healthily and that what matters. Well done fir finding a balance...

Thank you 😘 it's nice to see someone who's been through the same thing. Even if we've got to go to a plan Z I am committed to make it work X

Ingrid, that's exactly why I found my own way....I adopted the principles and with the help of my buddy, we got to about plan E before we found something which worked!! There are so many amazing recipes on here, in the glow book and other books that you can find a way to suit.
Good luck 😊

I have done 3 weeks 3 in a row, that I couldn't do all 100% good. It is almost laughable but I love the idea of making the programme longer 😍. My main issue like yours is that my BF is not keen on sharing the meals with me. He tried but it isn't his taste. I do miss sharing meals with him but for now limit it to going out once in a while (perhaps this is the main reason why I had 3 weeks 3!). I have also noticed he actually doesn't eat as healthily as when we were sharing meals which makes me feel a little guilty. Especially when I see him opening the fridge door in the evening wondering what he is going to have for dinner. Oh dear. I love him deeply. He is such a sweetheart and supporting my programme, never complaining. I tell myself the food plan is giving me a very good ground and I will be able to cook healthy options in the future that both me and my BF like in the future. This is my ultimate goal. It can't work if I do it only for me in the long-term X

Thanks all and thank you Madeleine, you are right, it's all about balance ☺️It's not been easy but we've got there and this way of eating really is sustainable and healthy. I've found that there is life outside of "slimming clubs" and that, in itself, is pretty amazing 😍
