Hi I bought the guide over the weekend. I noticed there's a direction to munch 101 under is it Paleo section. Personally I don't do so well with oats or pulses and prefer a more Paleo ish diet. So looking at the plan I think it would make me feel worse if I stick to it 😱 is there a way to make it work?

Hey babe, sounds great you can substitute the beans and oats for buckwheat or quinoa. Or just fish, eggs and chicken it's really interchangeable!! Hope that helps babe xxxx

Plus I eat rice etc. I'm basically trying to work it out what works for me. After years of being ill and not being ill anymore it definitely is, but man it's hard working out what's best with so many opinions out there 😘

I don't stint on carbs, I know that's not a great idea. Grain free is more what I mean but I'm going to have a go with properly preparing, or soaking and fermenting as despite huge improvements in health I hate restricting myself more than I need to.

Hi yes I don't really do well with beans however I just sub with meat or fish or cheese. I would be cautious with paleo as it cuts out essential carbohydrates, which are the bodies main source of energy so as long as you include things such as brown rice, quinoa, buckwheat, sweet pototoes to ensure your getting decent carbs then it should be fine.

Ok I think I'll answer this myself😉 I'll treat it like a vegetarian would and use it as a base for meal plans, I have tons of fantastic recipes to choose from, including Madeleine's book. I'll just made sensible substitutions.
