Hey girls, sorry but I feel like I have completely lost my glow. Everything is just getting too much , so I have had a groin/ abdominal strain for 5 weeks now which is not getting any better, seen 3 physios and they all say it's muscular and just needs time to heal. So that's really getting me down. I have been told I have osteoporosis and need to gain another stone in weight and increase my body fat percentage to get my menstral cycle which will help my bones to recover to some extent. So until all this happens I am not allowed to do any exercise because it will make my bones worse (and my groin won't let me at the moment anyway) . I just feel so horrible in myself now, having to eat so much I always feel uncomfortable, no activity literally has me climbing the walls and being in constant pain with this groin/ abdominal injury just makes things 10 times worse. Sorry for such a negative post but it just appears ever since I have started my journey to recovery I have been constantly battling pain and set backs. Just want to be able to start enjoying life like I should be able too. Not laying on my bed for most the day , with a bag of frozen peas icing an injury and eating so much food that I don't even end up enjoying. Anorexia has screwed me over big time 😖

I know that we are here to learn to eat healthy. But in your case just eat all the bad stuff we are all dreaming about! There are healthy burger places you could go to for example.

Hey Jenhammer, I know it must be so hard but you have to look forward and not back.
You can't change anything and have been doing so well inspiring us all.
Look forward in small durations rather than you have to put on a stone break it down in to smaller amounts.
You will feel so much better in a few weeks just by getting your body stronger. You won't feel bloated forever it's just your body adapting to change. I know you will gain the weight healthily. Keep piling on the houmous!
Big hugs - if anyone can do this you can. You have come so so far 😘😘😘

Loads of love from me. You are giving yourself a hard time. Think about taking smaller steps and feeling pleased with the little things life offers. My friend, I saw this weekend, was saying how much pleasure she gets in lighting s candle to mark a bit of quiet time meditating or doing yoga. It's those little things that count. Spring is coming look for the shoots coming out and take some pleasure from those little signs of life. Xxx

I'm so sorry you're feeling down ! But you're on the right path, just keep going and you'll see some progress. As said above, try and change your eating habits. I'm not telling you to binge on sweets and chocolate because that'd be the most unhealthy way to gain weight, but some fruits and vegetables have more calories than others (bananas, avocados, dates...) eat red meat, have nice deserts... Treat yourself, do my let eating become a chore. As for your hobbies, have you tried reading, or even writing ? It could prove very therapeutic. You can also take a class, join a club, get involved in politics, or even join an association to encourage young girls that are going through what you went through ! Go to the movies, the theatre, start a new TV series... Maybe cooking classes could help you love food again, and nutrition classes could only be beneficial. There are plenty of ways to get busy, just try and not to dwell on your problems. It's impossible to gain a stone in 2 days but you'll get there, I promise :) xx

I can tell you're fed up, but reading your post I can see you have a plan, a way forward to recovery. Don't fight it, the path may not be smooth but you will succeed. One step at a time 💪

Hey Jen. Poor you and that's we are all here to support you as a community. I'm doing CBT for anxiety ATM. Have you ever tried anything like that. it's really helped me to not be so hard on myself and to feel a bit more relaxed when I'm not in control. You are doing everything right by seeking all the professional help. Now it's just about nourishment and for you to try and be as stress free as possible. I honestly think stress is the worst! I have been told that even when i have been eating well because of how stressed I am my body isn't receiving all the benefits of it. You really need to look at how far you have come and what you have already conquered. I honestly believe you can get through anything. You were so inspirational speaking about it and raising awareness. Everything happens for a reason. And as awful as this is for you at the moment it will get better. And I totally think it's normal to not feel glowing all the time. We are all human x

Keep going sweets. You've come a really long way. Perhaps you can increase the calorie concentration of what you're eating? Eats lots of nut butters, maybe introduce some cheese and cream? Eat lamb and pork in place of fish and chicken? That way you may be able to continue to eat your calories without feeling so bloated?xx

Stay strong Jen. We all have days/weeks when nothing seems to be going right. Try not to dwell on things. Only you can turn things around for yourself. Are you having physio or taking pain relief? Or do u just need to rest up? Does a hot water bottle help? You've come so far on your incredible journey. Keep going 💖

Hello gorgeous girl, I felt so sad reading this and am so sorry you are suffering so much pain. I'm no expert but all I can offer to say is to maybe try not to put so much pressure on yourself, your body is healing and maybe some creative hobbies/ meditation or mindfulness is all you need right now. Think positive and be really really kind to yourself. Big hugs 💕💕
