I'm a very busy community nurse, and I am struggling with the lunches. because I eat in my car during my visits, I always have it cold. often bit unappetizing. means I don't enjoy it or put off eating it. any ideas for a more traditional on the go packed lunch ?

Yeah get the app it's cheaper than the book and most of the recipes are on there. Good luck xx

I'm an infection control nurse and I always end up eating at my desk with no access to microwave at all so I tend to eat a lot of the things cold! Also the lunchbox recipes from the e-book are amazing the smoked salmon carrot and beetroot one is my fave!!

haha u aren't odd. I do like majority of things cold, sometimes the texture goes a bit odd with some things and it puts me off. always entertaining when I have a student in the car and they get out their sandwich and me my cold vegetarian curry ! :-)

Now I feel a bit odd because I enjoyed the cold meals for lunch. 😳 Haha. Hope you manage to find something that suits your schedule! ☺

thanks guys! I've got a hot food flask, it would probs be ok for the veggi stuff. not sure I'd be brave to try it with the fish/meat things? might be tummy ache waiting to happen. because there would be several hours between heating up and eating. I might have a look at the deliciously Ella ones ?thanks for your help - all very well this sitting at a table thing but I never do that for work days! in my car in between patients and cold courgette just doesn't cut it haha

The lunchbox recipes from Maddie when you preorder her book are amazing- loads of salads in jam jars: dressing in the bottom first with all the ingredients layered on top, then you just shake when you're ready to eat. I've made a couple with courgetti and vinaigrette.
