Am struggling with time!! Kids and work is not providing me with any time to do the workouts. Also am having to make a meal for the kids and then cook my meal to the plan- it all takes ages and just feel am in the kitchen for the best part of an hour quite a lot which should be the time I have with the kids in the evening. Any ideas gang?

Thanks guys! I don't know why but it just feels like a lot of time. I don't know whether it is because I don't know the recipes rather than auto pilot making dinners... Or whether eating differently to the children just really adds to the juggling act. They have tried some Maddy recipes- but they just don't like some of it so we have to cook twice.

How about doing something like the Davina 7 min workouts. They're really good, and handy to slot in when you're juggling work and kids. And I second the comment about preparing in advance, I do a lot on a Sunday or once kids are in bed spend half an hour getting everything ready for the next day. You could also try using some of the stuff in our meals for the kids eg me and hubby had sweet potato in our dinner so did kids sweet potato mash, and I'd had cauliflower with lunch so chopped a bit more and put it with the kids tea. They don't always eat it but it's good to get them used to different tastes etc xx

Meant to say don't worry about the workouts - you just can't do it all. Most of us can't. It's fine xx

What did you used to do for your dinner? I personally find the meals quicker than my old ones. Can you cook some at the weekend for the week for yourself and your family. I often batch cook a lot of the meals as they nearly all freeze really well and most keep 3/4 days.
How about making a bolognaise or a curry or just making a tomato based sauce and freezing. Rice cooked and then cooled quickly and frozen is good. Lasagne is another. Also soups are good. Even if you try to do this to cover say 3 meals it may help.
