I've been having such a massive craving for a chocolate cake in the last couple of days, I don't know how to resist it ☹️

Hey, if your body is wanting chocolate cake then listen to it 🙂 just make it the best quality and cleanest it can be. For special occasions I'm a big fan of Nigella's olive oil cake. Upgrade the cocoa to make sure it's unsweetened (I use cacao powder), and switch out the caster sugar for coconut palm sugar. It's heavenly. Especially with a dollop of cashew cream.
Just once in a while of course... 😉

If you like hot choc there is a lovely recipe in Madeleine's book. I have one most nights, satisfies my sweet tooth and I figure it's better than eating chocolate! The recipe is 250ml almond milk (I use rice milk), 1tbsp cacao, 1tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp coconut sugar, mix and warm through in a pan. It's so chocolatey and lovely. And healthy 😋 xx

Maybe don't, maybe once every so often is ok! Just make sure it's good quality and you stop after one slice! "The little loaf" has a recipe for apricot and chocolate loaf cake which is super tasty and full of goodness! I swap some of the ingredients for healthier alternatives 😊
