So after a long day with the clinical nutritionist in London today I now have a new diet plan to help me recover from leaky gut. So all grains are out including quinoa, beans, buckwheat, rye. And in with loads of grass fed meat (beef lamb and offal) organic chicken, fish,. Loads of root veg and fruits to get my carbs and then lots of green veg. And then tons of healthy fats, coconut oil and yogurt, olive oil, avocado. This is the only way now I can heal and finally get rid of my pains. So out with my fav breaky of porridge with figs and almond butter and in with grass fed meat, roasted sweet potato and avocado and greens with loads of coconut oil. Different type of breaky and a big difference to what I am used to but will get used to it. Grains and nuts are a big no no for me right now, causing way too much immflamation in my body. 😳

I hope you don't mind me asking, but what is leaky gut? I've never heard of it before. Sounds like your doing really well adapting a healthy eating plan though! Good luck!

Gosh, that does make breakfast hard as we are all so used to grains for breakfast. Looking forward to see pics of your plates. Go girl! You can do it!
