Feeling a bit demotivated today and just wondering what everyone's pattern was with weight loss? I lost a couple of pounds in the first week but nothing this week which is disappointing when I've been pretty much sticking to the plan with no sugar, all the exercise and just the occasional extra (healthy) snack when I've been really hungry. Any meals I've substituted have been from Ready Steady Glow so I feel a bit disheartened- I was expecting a loss of maybe 1-2 pounds a week. Would love to know experiences from those who have completed the 8 week plan or who are further along than me. X

Thanks everyone, definitely planning to stick with it. I guess slow but steady progress is more maintainable anyway! Week 3 meals look the best yet and I have already noticed a difference in my skin so that's definitely a bonus! 😘

Keep in minx that muscle is heavier than fat ! All the workouts won't necessarily make you lose weight, but you will be leaner and thinner nonetheless, which you will notice when trying clothes on, as said previously :) and there are steps as well. I lost a huge amount of weight the first week, nothing the next two weeks (even gained some, but I didn't do the workouts) and now (week 4) I've lost almost 1kg this week ! Stick up it and you will see results!

Don't take any notice of the scales. They only measure your gravitational pull, they can't measure inches, muscle mass or wellness. Or Glow! Do progress pictures and inch or cm measurements instead. Much more accurate. Also, don't do it every week, you can be so affected by cycle, how much water etc. Minimum every fortnight, but I'm just finishing week 3 and won't weigh / measure / photo until I've done a month. My profile picture is a prime example. On the left 11 and a half stone unhealthy, on the right 11 and a half stone healthy. Body is vastly different but weigh the same! Hope that helps, keep going, you're doing great, and the number on the scales means nothing xx

Morning! It took me a while to notice a difference on the scale but noticed a huge change in how my clothes fit. I've gone down sizes. Even fit into size 10 jeans from topshop which is unheard of!! You may have lost inches. I read something about that being the best way to document changes. Try not to get disheartened though. You're doing a great thing for your heart and health. You might not see changes in pounds but sure you will feel fabulous in lots of other ways. Stick with it 😁 xx
