I'm in the middle of week 3 and have just taken the last 2 days off programme for some epic wedding celebrations for a friend. Now in some kind of cheese/ cake/ all-things- indulgent food coma! Have had a fab couple of days but it's scary how quickly those foods make you feel bloated, tired and out of shape. Planning on spending the weekend getting back on track with the programme ready to start afresh with week 4. Hope I haven't done too much damage - I do worry a little that the overindulgence could undo all my efforts from the last 2 and a half weeks but you've got to enjoy these things! 😕

The thing is...even though we regard these eight weeks as a short burst, we still have the rest of our lives to consider afterwards. Healthy eating and healthy living are an ongoing practice, like yoga, everyday we practice how to balance our health which is more than just the body, it's also the heart and mind which are nurtured by these indulgent occasions.xxx

You have to live you life a sensory yourself, but then get back on track. I know exactly how you are feeling. I had the weekend off and ate bread and cake and never felt so uncomfortable and bloated afterwards. It made me think how awful it is that our bodies were used to that feeling before. Yuck!
