Hi, I'm restarting the programme after a little while off. I've been reading a lot about how bad sugar is for you and want to try to go sugar free - seem to recall that the GG recipes are (mostly) sugar free, is that right? Does anyone know if you can still have dates on a sugar free diet? L❤️VE the date and almond balls! Is there anything else on the plan I should avoid?

Thanks everyone! Decided to have 1 week off ALL sugar (including dates and most fruit) just to try to break the addiction a bit then will reintroduce non-refined stuff next week. Wish me luck! 🍀

yes dates have sugar so keeping the amount u have to a minimum is key but i agree its that refined stuff u want to stay off xxx

Glow guides is refined sugar free. If you are doing it for type 2 diabetes you might want to check about dates sugar content but as far as I'm concerned going refined sugar free most of the time is a great step forward. The only time I crave sugar now is when I'm in the office. Need to get making some snack balls to help me through this week. X

Yes,you still can have dates.And a daily date & almond ball!and later on I think in week 4 or so,there is a lovely sugar free chocolate treat recipe!😋
