Morning all. Just chomping on a chia seed pudding but I'm not really enjoying the texture. Can anyone suggest an alternative breakfast (no eggs or avo) thanks xx

Another great blog you might find useful for really good breakfast ideas and even ways to make the chia more appetising http://www.thegreenbowl.at/category/alle-rezepte/fruehstuck/?lang=en

Hi Jenny. Ya I have used both ordinary quinoa soaked (1hour or overnight) or pre-cooked quinoa you can buy on Amazon or Holland and Barrett. And it reheats perfectly. I have also tried quinoa flakes and get the same result it just might vary as per the amount of milk you add. You might like recipe minus the sugar http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/27669/apricot+cranberry+and+pistachio+quinoa+porridge I prefer to add some berry compote instead to sweeten

Hi Sinead. Do you just use normal quinoa for the overnight porridge? Does it soften over night? Xx

Buckwheat and amaranth mix make a lovely overnight porridge or quinoa overnight porridge with frozen berries and almond milk is really good

Smoothies!! Rye bread with different toppings like hummus or a bean dip! All would be lovely, I love switching it up xx

oh, Madeleine's granola is fantastic but slightly addictive for me 😜. You can also use buckwheat instead of oats and the mint and feta recipe mentioned above is delicious.

I'm trying not to have oats every day but a smoothie could be an option maybe. I just wanted something quick like overnight oats but not oats. Xx

I know exactly what you mean, I found chia pudding easier to eat in a smaller quantity! I love tomatoes, feta and mint on rye from Madeleine's new book. So tasty! X
