Hi maddie
I saw your q and a on YouTube last night. Just wanted to say please please don't go vegan. I love your recipes with meat and fish and as you rightly say grass fed organic meat is actually very healthy for us . I love your whole balance to life and are one of the only food/ nutrition bloggers that is not an extremist . Please don't change your perfect as you are X X X

I'm not actually I just don't agree with your point of view and I'm at perfect Liberty to express mine. Don't comment on veganism if you don't want to hear contrasting opinions.

After battling 12 years of anorexia and almost losing my life last year the last thing I need is someone telling me that vegenism is the least shameful way to live my life. I can eat organic meat and be healthy so don't try to make me feel bad

To be honest unless you raise the animals yourself you will never know if they are well cared for and have led good lives. I don't think anybody actually tries to shame people who eat animals but it sounds to me like you're making excuses for it for some reason. I'm not a vegan myself I'm a vegetarian but in general veganism is the least shameful way to live your life.

Thank you lithie I almost am getting to the point where I am being made to feel ashamed by society that I eat meat and I am some kind of criminal because I am not a vegan. I wish before people followed the latest trend actually did their research and discovered that grass fed, pasture reared and cared for animals provide a healthy source of meat with high omega 3 levels. We should all be against conventional factory reared meat, this is wrong but pasture reared is actually very healthy. I cannot thrive off a vegan diet which is the same as many people and we should not be made to feel guilty about that. Rant over 🙈🙈

I have tried veganism before with the support of a clinical nutritionist and I just could not thrive off it, eating grass fed and animals that have led healthy life's and looked after is very different to conventional meat which I disagree with. Everyone is different and vegan diets are not suitable for a lot of people and people should be able to make their own choice here without being made to feel bad for whatever route they choose.

Being vegan doesn't mean that you're an extremist! Just living a healthy life for not just yourself but all living beings. The meat industry is ruining the planet with all its toxic gases, so I'd say that's actually more extreme in my option.
