Cutting out caffeine is giving me a headache, literally, wonder if anyone has some tips on how to overcome the withdrawal symptoms?

Hello! This is totally normal and expected. You can replace coffee with mint or herbal teas and water helps. You can break the habit, I believe in you ❤️

Lots of water and I also use 4head. It's a menthol balm you rub on your temples. Helps me

Me too! I struggled this afternoon with an enormous headache. Hope you're feeling much better - clearly didn't realise how much sugar I naturally ate! X

I had a headache when I gave up (I was on about 10 cups a day!). I just kept drinking water and that seemed to help. I have 1 cup a day now and feel lots better so keep going - it's worth it!

Ok, sounds like I just need to push on through! I had thought of decaf filter coffee with non diary / non soya milk - can just imagine the look I'll get from the guys in the work coffee shop! Maybe a flask is the solution ☕️☕️

Green tea does contain caffeine but a lot less than coffee, still contains it though.
I suffered a lot with headaches when I cut down , I just drank tons of water and took pain killers. I do still have one filter coffee a day, I can't cope without one! My headache was mainly sugar withdrawal (I also started a week ago from the glow book)

I suppose I don't get withdrawal as I had decaf. But I love green tea

I started plan early last week from Madeleine's book...,,, I had a terrible headache for 3 days solid but then felt wonderful day 4, I am still having an odd coffee so I am convinced it's a reaction to no sugar....., all I can say is 'keep the faith' so to speak and I am sure you will feel great soon!!

In my experience it's best just to go cold turkey. It takes a few days but you'll get through it. Although if you're cutting out sugar for the first time too then that will make it even tougher! I'm not giving up coffee, I enjoy it too much so I'm sticking to one cup a day and using oat milk

Go with it, you will feel fine by the end of the week . I have a massive headache too, last time I gave up, took about a week. Xx
