I was reading about managing cravings and there was an interesting mind game, when you crave something, say to yourself you'll have it some other time. When you make unspecific plans, you teach your mind not to think about that thing and gradually it becomes more manageable. Say you will have the cake "later", if you say "tonight", you will keep thinking about it. Worth trying it out I think! 😀
