Could anyone over some advice/help? I have been feeling so so tired for a long time. Doing this programme and being more aware of nourishing my body has define helped but not completely! Some days I feel
like it makes me not a nice person as I become stressed and quick tempered. I've been to the dr and had lots of blood tests etc but these all come back as nothing wrong! Just wondered if anyone else had suffered with this or had any ideas to help?!

Hi, I can relate to that degree of exhaustion and it is like walking through treacle. To cut a very long story short, when I was living in Australia I was frequently sick, lost a huge amount of weight and was shattered all the time. I was in the middle of a PhD which wasn't helping either! I ended up seeing a gastroenterologist who after lots of investigations send me for breath tests. Being a science type person I must admit I was more than sceptical and just felt a bit pathetic really, but it ended up being diagnosed as a transient fructose intolerance (there is a very severe congenital fructose malabsorption which is not the same!) I was referred to a dietician and put on a low FODMAP diet which was very restrictive. It took several months but eventually I put weight back on, got really strong and energetic again and my guts improved. This was all in addition to having been gluten free for years! It is certainly not something to be done without a Dr and a dietician but it may be worth asking your GP about it. Good luck 🙂

I've had similar experiences, which I alleviated by completely cutting all sugar from my diet (including fruit). Recently I had a hair mineral analysis, which involves sending your a sample of hair away for analysis, and gives an insight into any minerals you're deficient in, how much heavy metal toxicity is in your body and you're metabolic profile. It also then tells you what foods you should and shouldn't eat in order to improve. This has been a game changer for my health and how I feel. I finally have something tailored to me. you can eat as healthy as you can and take all the advice in the world from others, but it won't work if it's not what your individual body actually needs. Case in point, the hair analysis showed I shouldn't way avocado, broccoli or kale. Despite how good they are for you, after a week avoiding them I already felt better

I take bvitamins in the morning. digestive enzymes before I eat and then magnesium at night. They really have perked me up but with anything it takes time

Sometimes I describe it as the feeling of walking through treacle! I have thought about is it just normal, stressful job and children but it's just so exhausting at times!

I feel exactly the same. I always feel so drained and irritable that I take it out on others around me. I'd be keen to see people's advice here xx

Ah poor you. Are you just burnt out by doing too much?
Sometimes what can see as 'normal' busyness is just too much for us to handle. Do you take any good supplements? Xxx

Generally sleep well but find it really hard to wake up!

My gut instinct is a deficiency of some kind, most obvious ones might be magnesium or vitamin D.

How's the quality of your sleep? X
