Hi all. After months of being off plan and putting loads of weight on, feeling low in energy I've decided to start again this week. My main issue last time was spending loads of time in the kitchen because my two kids (6 and 3) wouldn't eat meals from glow guides so I was making separate meals. Has anyone got any tips for either a) getting the kids to eat the same as me or b) spending less time in the kitchen. Thank you! Xx

So many good tips. I found I was getting really stressed about it - hardly a role model for good eating. So I give her the carb and option of trying mine. I freeze stuff and bulk cook. And swap to simple things when I need to. Stress piles on the pounds xx

Kids need different foods and nutrients. Persevere with adaptation for their taste xxx

I find with my 6 year old that if I add a carb that he liked eg pasta or brown rice with the protein and veg he'll give it a go. I found it really hard initially but have perceived and I hope that in the long term it means that I'm giving him a healthier attitude towards food! Of course sometimes I still give into a "picnic tea" in front of the tv!😝

I guess my only advice is to bulk cool as much as possible for you all. I double up all the recipes which means whilst sometimes a bit repetitive it's half the time in the kitchen. My advice with the children is to try and incorporate at least the same protein or veggies... My boy loves chicken so I buy a bit extra cook it off and serve his with peas and sweet potato wedges. Salmon into fish cakes etc.
