I couldn't find the original post, but I remember a while back someone saying they'd started getting lower back pain after starting yoga. I wonder if this is why? Tight hamstrings stopping the pelvis tilting forwards and therefore putting pressure on the spine. I gave tight hamstrings - will definitely start doing daily hamstring stretches to see if it helps.

It could be mine also. I get low back pain from doing yoga :( and my hamstrings are very tight so I'll have a look at this. Thank you xx

It could have been my post and this seems to fit! I have literally no flexibility in my hamstrings (exactly the same as my mum) so been trying to work on that! Thanks for the link x
