Hi marrie, I'm a chocoholic normally but after 1 week of no choc - cravings were dramatically less and when I do get them I try to remind myself that it's in my head and don't need it, have a peppermint & liquorish tea (vry sweet) or an apple or if rly can't resist I have either 1-2 squares of 70% dark choc as so rich only need little or I found that 'graze' do little choc protein flapjacks - mini size - get in boots or sainsburys - try to eat it slowly and rly enjoy with a cuppa and no guilt at all - as I know I only have them rarely when I have strong craving & the protein seems to make me feel full so don't need lots. If i cave one day I try to be extra strict and stick to my plan next day so doesn't spiral - balance lol - enjoy it as a treat now and then not all the time - being prepared and carrying around sweet herb teas, apples or healthy snacks really helps as stops me just buying rubbish when out and clear cupboards other than small amount of healthy / good quality treats - dark choc covered coconut chips are ammmazing and only £1 in primark! The plain ones are sweet and crunchy so good as a treat also. I really enjoyed the cinnamon and date balls from week 1 as well - def. helped with cravings! Good luck (whatever you do don't watch chocolat film with Jonny depp lol) x
