My husband has just got a ballot place in the London marathon and I'd love to do it with him . Looking at charities and the minimum pledges are £1800+. Does anyone know of any charities with lower pledge minimums . Raising money for any good cause is worth running for I feel .

I just did the Oxford half last weekend which is great. I might do the Thorpe half though in Feb. Another brilliant challenge is the Thames Path which you can walk or run. @jenny and @fairycake xx

I'd love to do another half marathon. It was an incredible feeling crossing that finish line. I'm really slow too! I'm not sure what to do. I might look for a 10k to ease me back in xx

If I don't do marathon then I'll sign up to another half . I'm really slow and not very good but it always makes me feel proud when I've finished! What event might you do @Jenny Quinn ?

Try motor neurone disease association- they are an incredible charity. Or if you're based in London perhaps St.Christophers hospice?

London is that amount for all the charities I looked at. I would love to do it but raising that amount is a lot. I've secured a place at Brighton marathon though. Let me know how u get on. Xx
