Hi guys. I'm starting veggie plan today. I have a question about the morning turmeric milk, I've tried making it with Rude Health milks and it's just not working at all. The liquid separates even though I heat it up for shorter time than specified (I know some plant milks separate when allowed to boil) and it's just down right awful to drink. I've got a habit of drinking a pint of warm water with juice of a whole lemon and a sachet of Spatone every morning. Do I still need to drink the milk? I don't fancy having two drinks first thing and don't want to give up my lemon water as I love it. Any thoughts? X

I use Rice Dream and it always comes out fine in microwave xxx

I use plant milks from provomel, not sure if they are available in the uk, but if so they work perfectly for hot drinks

@wend75 perhaps I should go and read the other bits rather than just jumping straight in to the meal plan and shopping list 😂 thank you for your help x

Oh bless you! The plan is meant to be flexible and work for you, so I'm sure the evenings are fine. No help on the milk front sorry x

Hi @wend75 I do heat it really slowly on the smallest flame. I might try drinking it in the evening, the meal plan specifies morning though, that's why I am a bit confused x

I had same problem @lina7335 until I discovered Barista Oatly milk which is designed to be used hot. I met some of the Oatly team at BeFit London last year and they asked me to contact them with my postcode and they got back to me with local stockists, super lovely company! Xx

Heat it really slowly,? Also you can have the turmeric milk any time I prefer it before bed x
