Hello, I have a silly question but thought I'd ask to be safe! For the Sunday roast chicken recipe I assume I am supposed to use raw beetroot and just peel it before roasting? I've not cooked beetroot before :)

I have used both cooked and raw for this and both turned out pretty good. I usually peel mine. Mines in the oven now...Enjoy! 😀👌😍

I don't peel the beetroot, just wash it well - before topping and tailing, otherwise the red comes out in the water. Then chop up and continue. It's delicious and I sprinkle a bit of fresh thyme on it too. Enjoy 💕
