I have quite alot of weight I am wanting to lose and I defo have gained the most weight on my face and legs over the last year! I would say i have around a stone to lose, I am feeling so healthy and happy following this guide but I am also a negative thinker and can't help to think that I won't lose anything at all and that's so frustrating to me :( I know it's not all about weight loss but obviously that helps ! I feel like I need to be running miles a day to lose weight and slim down my legs ! I saw in your live stream yesterday that people can lose upto a stone and mainly around the gut area which is amazing but will I also see results else where too? Or just my stomach?

Ps sorry for the negative nelly post!! Just thought people would help me :)

I'm right there with you girls. I was pretty active and slender when I was younger but as soon as I hit 13 I have no idea what happened. My goal is to feel like my body belongs to me again; and that when I look in the mirror I don't cringe but see something greater than beauty. It's the worst to feel like you're a prisoner in your own body. Madeleine has created something that speaks to me on every level - that's why we're all here. So if you're struggling just know you've got a whole community cheering you on ❤️

I need to lose just over 3
Stone and I'm so desperate to achieve that so I do know how you feel but this glow community is such a great support I feel I can get there with this programme and I'm telling myself I just have to be patient and stick with it!! We will get there! X

Just had my chickpea curry and made my boyfriend and his dad it too! They loved it! Such a nice feeling not bloating after eating like I used to daily!! Loving this !

I am doing it to feel wonderful as well as lose weight. I want to lose around 20 pounds (1.5 stones). I lost about 5 since last Monday and have felt awesome!

Hi Lauren, Don't underestimate the power of meditation, that will help shift your mindset a lot. I live the community feel of this program, it's a massive motivator. Enjoy!

I did the six weeks course before Christmas (from her book) and the weight fell off without me doing any exercise. I put all my weight on my bum and thighs and I couldn't believe the results. It will work. Just try and do your best but don't punish yourself... We are all just trying to do our best.... Sometimes I fall off the wagon but just think to myself if I keep trying my best then that's better than not trying at all. You will do fantastic, look healthy and feel great! Hi Lauren- I feel the same as you. I have 2 stones to lose which just feels like a massive hurdle. I can't fit in any of my lovely clothes anymore snd I'm not buying more. I also know I can't do all the workouts and recipes as I'm a single mum with a full time job- my sons after school activities take up so much time that if I was to do everything I'd literally never sleep. The way I'm trying to look at is - I can only do my best. I might not be losing 3lb a weak like other people but I'm also not doing nothing and then moaning about being overweight either. I'm so pleased that their are other people who even if they aren't in the same position as me are feeling the same as me. I did the workout A this morning and I felt like an old granny. But the point is I did it! And for that I'm pleased.. Positive positive.. Nicola xxxx

I'm so pleased you posted this.... I was talking to my glow buddy earlier and wondered if anyone else was doing this to lose weight as well as feel amazing as it seems a lot don't want to lose weight!
I'm certain it will work, I lost 2lb last week from following the book and didn't feel deprived, however, these exercises will make us tone up everywhere so do take measurements too!!

Another thing to think about - I think generally the first place you gain weight tends to be the first place you lose it - so look forward to seeing that change in your legs! 😍

I think trust Madeleine..... Do as she suggests and I am positive you will see results...,, I followed her recipes from her book last week and lost 3lb !!! Keep the faith honey X X. I too have plenty of chub to shift.

That's very true ! I was very sweaty after yesterday's workout! I think I am trying to push myself too hard! I'm just going to stick the guide for the 8 weeks :) thank you everyone ! xx

Also - I felt like that workout from yesterday WAS a cardio workout - I was sweating and my heart rate was up the entire time! Whew!

You also don't want to over-exercise! Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe Madeline has designed the workout regimen around the meal plan, which is of a slightly limited calorie count. If you work out too much, your body may think it's starving and hold onto fat - and you may find it harder to lose weight!

I have found, when trying to shed pounds in the past - that if I take what I'm doing down about 10%, I start to see results. Plus, I feel better all around when I'm not exhausted from hours of exercise, AND I have more time in my day for the things that I love.

Remember: more is not always better. Especially if it makes you unhappy. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the change in your body just doing the Glow workouts. I have faith! ❤️
