I've just made the coconut and date bites for this weeks plan and have had loads of oil come out of the ingredients. Any ideas why I've made energy balls before and never seen this. Have attached photo of what's left in my bowl

This happened to me too, I'm not sure why. They tasted ok once they had chilled in the fridge. Hope yours do too!

Oh sorry thought you meant date and almond ones! Yes agree with lulaboola must be the nut oil then. X

I think you may have over processed the nuts. I have had this happen too and that is what i put it down to.

Thanks for reply. There's no oil in the recipe it's desiccated coconut, walnuts and dates so not sure what has happened

Looks like just a bit much coconut oil? Is a different brand or was it hot already? Sometimes mine are like this but they still set fine xx
