Evening all. I'm really sorry if this post is miserable and depressive but I'm afraid that that is just how I'm feeling at the moment 😢 I am desperate to get fit and healthy and I have so much weight to lose I can't even bring myself to think about it. I've very unsuccessfully attempted several slimming programmes over the past weeks/months/years and I just seem to become even more depressed and disheartened than when I started. I am sick of eating tasteless diet food, so when I finally pull myself together and stop dropping tears on my phone screen, I am going to make something yummy from one of Madeleines books and begin to try and repair some of the damage that years of yo-yo dieting has caused. I'm sorry again if this was an inappropriate post but I really didn't know where else to turn. Have a wonderful evening everyone, much love, Donna x

Hello Lovely! (@Donna ) 😊 You have come to the right place, I can assure you. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us firstly, the Glow Guides community is the best place for gaining help and support. We have a truly lovely community on here, who are always willing to prop you back up when you are down. I have certainly felt like this before, which is why I created the Glow Guides plan. A realistic lifestyle plan to nourish your body and get you glowing from the inside out once again - and absolutely NO tasteless food involved! 😅 But yes, additionally, my books will definitely be helpful guides to whipping up some delicious meals.
Also, have you tried meditation? Often when I feel overwhelmed or anxious, having 10 minutes to myself to breathe and zone out really helps - if you are interested give me a message and I can try and help. The best advice I can give in the meantime is that things don't happen happen over night (unfortunately), you will have slip-ups, but you are trying and that is the main thing! Hi Donna, I think you have the right idea to try a recipe from maddys book. my journey with glow guides started with buying the ready, steady, glow cookbook and I just started trying some of the recipes. Then eventually I started doing the yoga moves that were in the back of the book every morning. I did that for a few months. share a picture and let us know how you're getting on. Hugs 🤗

That would be a great start, I also write down 3 things I’m grateful for every morning and honestly it really sets me up for the day in a positive way, coffee features highly on it 😂

I've actually got a daily journal, I did think about starting to write in that so I can offload some of the negative feelings x

Hi Donna, sorry your feeling so miserable. I’m not qualified to give out any advise but I know when I’m feeling overwhelmed I find it helps when I write things down, how I’m feeling, where do I want to be etc there’s so Much information available to us I think it’s easy to go off track and get carried away with what everyone else is doing,so my advise would be just concentrate on you and what you can do, what changes you can make and what works for you, if you just take it one day at a time it’s not so daunting, wishing you well xx
