I've been loving all the meals, and the yoga, workouts and meditation. Big thanks Madeleine 😘 it's just what I need to de-sress right now. I'm a teacher so have been getting up at 6am to do the workouts and yoga, and I'm often not home until 6pm so it's a very long day at work. Sometimes I really feel like I need a snack to keep be going, especially before or after dinner (my fiancé loves desserts) what do other people do for snacks? I've been tending to go for cashew nuts or seeds. Anyone else finding that they need a few extra snacks? Thanks ❤️

Ah it's good to hear it's going ok with teacher life. I'm almost exactly the same, I don't eat breakfast at the moment and always feel hungry just after the school day ends. I'm looking forward to starting Sunday, just did my food shop tonight and tried one of the workouts too. It sounds like you're off to a great start so fingers crossed I get on as well :)

Well done for sticking to the plan alliepants1 🎉 I very nearly caved last night as my fiancé wanted to order a curry, though he went a cooked which was so lovely of him ❤️ I love cooking so much and find it really therapeutic but both me and my fiancé tend to have which a bit of work to do in the evenings so I think this is potentially where we could cave 🙈 lets all stay strong together glowguys 🌟💪🏼

Nurse! I've been at work for close to 14 hours today. I'm starving. I had two bits of breakfast. Managed to eat my left over chicken with cashew and had a handful of nuts, and 2 glasses of water.... And a scone.. Which was sooo good. I'm so tempted to stuff a slice of pizza in my face and call it a day! 😕

@sarahellen - it's such a hands on physically demanding job. I think there's a misconception we sit at desks all day sometimes 🙈 I teach year 3/4 in an SEN school so I have a very active little bunch who enjoy keeping me on my toes 😁 I usually have a snack with my class around 10:30 which has been a bit strange not doing this week, though I never used to eat breakfast so having it has been good as I'm usually still full around then. I keep my snack date and almond ball for after school and try and save it for around 4:30 as that's when I feel really hungry 😋

Thanks Madeleine, and everyone else for your help. what are the best things to snack on? I'm usually pretty good and go for nuts and seeds/quinoa rice cakes and avoid sugar. Is fruit OK as an addition to the meal plans?

Also a teacher here so I understand your need for snacks! I think we underestimate how physical a job it is. I'm starting on Sunday so any teacher tips for making the programme work would be appreciated :) xx

I expressed concern I did not want to loose weight just wanted to be healthy and she said to me adding in healthy carbs and healthy snacks was fine. I tend to make a smoothie with protein in it. Or a small bowl of coyo yogurt with nuts and blueberries and almond butter. You could try crudités with hummus? Or a boiled egg which is good protein? X

Thanks guys. I do also cook a lot from her book but feel like I'm only meant to be sticking to the meal plans and not deviating 😕 is there anywhere that Madeleine has spoken about additional snacks and drinks? I know in the video intro to week one she said a coffee in the morning is ok ☕️👌🏽

I love to snack! I am a keen baker so really miss a piece of cake or bun in my life. On Madeleines website there is a great recipe for paleo strawberry muffins which I love. I've also tried the Neapolitan ice cream which was amazing too. I try to always have some of the energy balls in the fridge too for snacking as they are really filling. Theres a There is
