Luckypenney!!! Amazing work on all your fitness efforts. I love a girl that isn't afraid to lift weights! While these workouts are all body weight based, You will still get an intense workout. Try to copy all of my variations and if I'm too slow for you, speed up the movements even more. Of course be safe and make sure you're executing the exercises correctly before taking it to new levels. But I assure you, all the sweat on my body during filming was real! I lift and sprint and do all kinds of hardcore training, and still found this workout intense. πŸ™πŸΎπŸ’™πŸ™πŸΎ Good Luck!!!! πŸ™πŸΎπŸ’™πŸ™πŸΎ

Hi Shona. I am loving the workouts...I do have one question....I've always been a keen exerciser - in the past I've exercised for 90 mins a day lifting heavy weights, running lots of miles and doing high impact work. As a new mum this program fits into my life much more easily and it feels kinder on my body than the things I have done in the past but is it enough to get results? I feel like I should be doing more....

Fiona! Great that you're wanting to start, but just definitely check in with your physician to see if the program will be ok to undertake. Print out the routine and ask them to look over the movements. ❀️ always prioritise safety first ❀️

Hmm that's tricky. Gymnastics is amazing and intense so I wouldn't want you over training. Perhaps you could do yoga and gymnastics on the same day and try to squeeze in some training on the days you're not doing gym? Xx

Estee!!! Yes breaks are necessary! Honouring the body and its needs are necessary! I curb cravings by making sure I eat enough protein at regular meals, keeping my macros balanced and making sure that I'm not just dehydrated! Maddy has some great tips on how to cure cravings too. πŸ™πŸΎπŸ’™

Actually I was surprised at how different today's push ups felt like, it seemed much much easier! Working out for strength and skills as you preach is such a good motivation πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ

I haven't braved the exercises yet but have ordered bench and will start this week.
I have Achilles reconstruction last year - it's over a year and is fine but not sure on some of the program.
What's your thoughts?

I'm so terrible at push ups, but even after a week I've noticed a small improvement, I can get halfway down before collapsing in a heap now πŸ˜„

Hey shona! I have two classes of 2 1/2 hour gymnastic training a week (always mondays&fridays) Sadly those are the days with the glow workouts. Mostly after class I feel tired and I have to work physically in the evening aswell. Would you recommend to quit the glow workouts on those days or swop the days with the yoga workouts? Though I especially love the yoga sessions...bit in ateouble with this😢

Hi Shona. You talk a lot about giving ourselves a break at times and I find it all so inspiring. Also your fitness levels are so empowering! I'm about to have surgery this week so fitness is on hold for now. But after a year of so many operations I can't wait to get fit! With surgery looming I'm really craving a glass of wine, some chocolate and something cheesy and comforting for TLC. But all your wonderful Instagram posts are stopping me and keeping me focuses. What do we do when you get these cravings? 😞

Hross!! I totally know what you mean. It took me a really long time to develop the Glute strength to actually feel it the next day. Trust me, they are working. Have you played around with moving your foot further forward or backward? You could also try raising the heel slightly (with a little platform or block) and this will help you get the range to feel your butt fire. πŸ‘ sitting in chairs and wearing high heels can cause the glutes to become weak, so give them time to grow and strengthen. πŸ‘

DariaN - stick with it! Push ups can take a while, so don't be disheartened if you're only doing them from your knees! Full push ups will come with consistency and also as your core strength develops you will become better at them too! πŸ™πŸΎ Free weights are worth doing but most effective when you're following a program πŸ™πŸΎ

I never feel like I'm doing the single leg bridge right. I can't get my butt up as high as you and madeleine and I feel like My butt should be more sore. Is that just a strength thing? Any tips would be really helpful😊

Hey Shona! I have zero experience with weight training and I can't even do a proper push up (only a couple with my knees on the floor πŸ™ˆ) I always did a lot of cardio. Do you recommend starting with body weight exercises before moving to free weights or is this not necessary?

Clomeg- try to do the push-ups on firm ground. Carpet push ups can cause the wrist joint to bend too much. If you're still struggling, try putting your hands onto a low platform instead, like a couch or bench. This will make them easier but take the pressure off your wrists. Xx

Nicolou - just try to squeeze in even half of it! Even a little bit of movement each day will make such a huge difference. A set of the warm up, and two working sets (rather than three) will still be better than nothing. Xx
