hi is anyone else suffering with constipation? I thought I would be the other way with all the veg and nuts and seeds as I normal suffer with IBS issus, but I'm not and I'm very bloated by the end of the day I've started adding sauerkraut to one meal to see if it help but so far it hasn't any ideas?

I am still suffering from constipation I am sticking to the diet religiously and drinking so much water and having herbal tea. Madeleine can you suggest anything else?

Hello Keely! Sorry to hear that! Try drinking lots of water as this helps flush your system, also increase in herbal teas and lemon and ginger will help. I'd also suggest you make sure you chew your food properly and sit down at meal times otherwise this can disrupt digestion. Let me know how you get on! Xx

Psyllium husks along with plenty of water are also good! I take it in capsule form. 😊

Have you tried taking a magnesium supplement? I read about it and decided to try and it really helped. And too many eggs can really be a problem.

I have bad ibs too. I have changed some of the recipes where there are trigger foods such as beans , cauliflower, cabbage. Despite claims carbs are not the enemy when it comes to ibs. Maybe ease off eggs for a while as sometimes they can Bung you up a bit? X

Try some peppermint and liquorice tea tells helps my digestive system

have had hardly any carbs yet I've been following the book and I've been drinking peppermint and liquorice tea as well as decaf green tea
